Henri Matisse Icarus, from Jazz Keychain

Keychain developed from Henri Matisse¡¯s Icarus, from Jazz, 1947, from the collection of The Art Institute of Chicago. Henri Matisse¡¯s Jazz is often considered the pinnacle of livres d¡¯artiste.  The book contains a variety of motifs¡ªthe circus, the sea, algae, leaves¡ªruns throughout the book, displaying Matisse¡¯s famous technique of brightly colored cut-outs.
